Seb Aroney is the Founder and Director of Modern Power Solutions.
In 2013, Seb began developing the V1 series, a pop up power outlet with the purpose of improving convenience of electrical outlets in the home.
Features including direct USB charging meant mobile devices could be charged without needing to scramble for a mis-placed power brick. And when power is not needed, the unit was able to retract back down for a hidden and seamless finish into any bench-top.
Shortly after in 2015, Seb officially registered the company, and Modern Power Solutions began.
“The Person Who Chases Two Rabbits Catches Neither”
As time progressed, Seb cut small product lines and doubled down on pop up outlets specifically for kitchen countertops, as this was what most customers were purchasing for. Focusing on this niche meant the business could analyse & refine, to offer a market leading product for its customers.
Today, Modern Power Solutions operates around the world with a focus in the United States, United Kingdom and Australia. It’s a specialty business, to enable the continued development of the best possible pop up power outlets for kitchens.
Seb is also involved with the Cooper Rice Brading Foundation, acting as their IT manager.
